A new free game set in alternate universe was made toRuneScape

RuneScape is an interesting game to me, because I’ve never honestly played it, but literally, well more figuratively, every single person I know has played it. I mean, I’ve played it, I’ve put a good 20 to 30 hours into it and its various iterations, which constantly change (Jagex isn’t afraid of revamping their game frequently), but it’s a rather popular game that honestly doesn’t gear nearly the love it should. Today DarkScape is released. This isn’t specifically a seperate game, but instead a really interesting game mode with some new rules:

Jagex has launched a new free game set in alternate universe to its popular title RuneScape. Buy RS gold online,”As big fans of sandbox survival games, DarkScape was born from an idea we first bandied around the studio a couple of years ago. Even while it’s been on the backburner since then, it’s stayed with us,” said Conor Crowley, senior producer of DarkScape. Welcome new adventurer, your time has come to take your life in your own hands and go explore the world of Gielinor. As you start your adventure make sure to take advantage of every opportunity you can and meet new and interesting people. Interacting with new people will help you learn new skills and obtain new things such as armor and weapons.

As time goes on and you progress and learn new things skills will become easier for you and you will possibly be able to make some good money off of these new skills as well. Make sure to always keep yourself safe and if you do come across one of the dangerous monsters in this land please make sure to be carrying at least a sword to try and slay it. As you meet your new friends and start doing quest with them you will hopefully get more riches then you can even imagine. Everyone’s adventure is different so now it is time for you to write the next chapter in history and do good things. Whilst the focus is on the heroes T.S. Church does introduce several new characters, although not to the detriment of the story.

If King Roald hadn’t acted in such a rash manner, perhaps the journey to Canifis would have been avoided all together. Everyone plays their part. Although almost relegated to something of a side story, Sulla’s determination to restore his honour and take revenge could make for an interesting book on its own. Having lacked menace previously, being crippled by Kara-Meir has made Sulla seem far more dangerous, as he uses a combination of cunning and his Werewolf companion to instil an iota of fear into those who have made a mockery of him over the past six months – and an iota is all he needs to succeed.

There are aroud 24 skills in Runescape, with most of them ranging from level 1-99 with the exception of Dungeoneering, which goes to level 120. It takes ages to max out a skill in Runescape, and there’s still talk of them adding more. The skills have different tasks you need to do in order to level them up, for instance, cutting Trees increases your Woodcutting level, fletching logs increases your Fletching level, crafting runes your Runecrafting, etc. And the higher you get in the skill, the more awesome things you can do with it. Jagex, the creators of the hit massively-multiplayer online role-playing game, Runescape, is set to bring the world of Gielinor to the card game stage with Chronicle: Runescape Legends.

DarkScape also removes the fast travel options that instantly teleport you from one area of the world to another, so if you want to buy low in one area of the world and sell high in another, you’ll have to risk traveling through a world where anyone can jump you. If you die, you’ll drop all your loot.

Runescape is clearly an excellent game

RuneScape is a browser based fantasy game that was released in 2001. It offers a wide variety of things to do in a game that is free to play. They do have a membership program that is 5 dollars a month that offers more extensive opportunities and items for game play, but it is not necessary to have a membership to play and the free play is packed quite full of things to do on its own. There are also both English and German speaking servers available at this time, with access to servers that are for many other countries, such as Australia, Netherlands, Sweden and Canada to name a few. Remember that old browser game that all your friends used to play? Remember that time you tried to attack a level 50 Jogre and got killed? Remember that time you accidentally closed your browser window and panicked for the next day over whether or not your account was being hacked by strange internet forces of darkness?

OK, maybe it wasn’t as bleak as that. For me, Runescape was always ‘that game’ that people played if they couldn’t afford a World of Warcraft subscription or a good enough computer to play it on. It was ‘that game’ where you would spend hours on a quest instead of a few repetitive minutes of boar-slaughtering. Now, after over ten years since its official release, I think Runescape is ready for a review. Not to Shabby actually, the game has a word filter which works pretty well, however some people can mistype words and it works, there are wizards and cheesy looking demons (which are only considered as monsters). Prayer is for sarodimin, and that just increases your str and def, etc. You raise your prayer level by burying bones you get when you kill something like a goblin or another npc. at this present moment zomorak does nothing, its just a name in the world of runescape.

Other than that I cant think of any inappropriate things in the game. MrCoolMan89’s comments: Runescape has a few five point stars in it and you can pray to the evil God Zamorak. You’ll also find burning skull heads and some other creepy stuff. You can also choose to drink alcohol and shoot people with arrows. So there is a little violence but there is NO blood. It takes a while for this too get going, arguably too long as the first half of the book is fairly slow-paced and has a good bit of “filler” in terms of little conversations and events that have little bearing on the plot. However, once the crossing begins the books dark tones take an even darker turn as werewolves are introduced in larger numbers and the book describes such acts as children being ripped apart by them.

It never feels overdone, or like this violence was added simply to try to shock, instead it feels like it justifies the fear that is felt by the humans about this dark land, and that the werewolves serve the vampires – and are afraid of them – adds another layer to this already disturbing kingdom. The controls for both RS3 and Old School are pretty much the same. The controls for both versions of this game are extremely easy to learn when the mouse is pretty much used for everything you do. Right clicking the mouse will allow you to bring up a menu for what ever you rick clicked on and select what to do with it. Left click is how you can do basically everything like attacking your opponent or just walking around. When chatting with a friend you will use the keyboard to chat or search for things in your bank but that is about it. Overall I really like the controls for this game and think they fit and work really well. If you are still having issues with learning the controls then you can always look up a tutorial.

Despite the dragging gameplay and dated graphics, Runescape is clearly an excellent game. It has a typical yet interesting story line, excellent character development and numerous quests. This is definitely one substantial MMORPG that tells us why we were gamers in the first place. And all of these are in the confines of your own web browser.
